1. Acceptance
By installing, opening, or using Cana, you accept this EULA, the Terms of Use, and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install the app or remove it from your device.
2. Licence grant
Cana grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable licence to install and use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on a compatible Android device that you own or control, subject to the applicable app-store rules.
3. Licence restrictions
Unless applicable law expressly permits otherwise, you may not:
- copy, sell, rent, distribute, transfer, or provide access to the app;
- decompile, disassemble, attempt to derive source code, or bypass technical restrictions;
- modify the app, create derivative works, or remove copyright notices;
- use the app to violate the law, third-party rights, or the security of the service;
- use Cana interfaces to create a competing service without written permission.
4. Ownership
The app is licensed, not sold. All rights not expressly granted by this agreement remain with Cana and the relevant rights holders. This agreement does not transfer rights to trademarks, source code, or third-party content.
5. Updates
We may release fixes, updates, and new versions. Some updates may be installed through Google Play according to your device settings. For security and compatibility, certain features may require a current version of the app.
6. Online features and third-party services
Synchronisation, parish rooms, the AI spiritual guide, notifications, payments, and some content require an internet connection. Cana uses third-party services, including Google Firebase, Google Play, and AI providers. Their components may be governed by their own terms.
7. Content and safety
You are responsible for content you submit through the app and must have the right to use it. Do not submit information whose disclosure could harm you or another person. Automated responses are not professional advice and may contain errors.
8. Paid features
A licence to use the app does not include all paid features. Access to Cana Plus is governed by the offer shown before payment and by the rules of Google Play or the relevant payment provider.
9. Termination
This licence terminates automatically if you materially breach the agreement. After termination, you must stop using and remove the app. Provisions concerning ownership, liability, and applicable law remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
10. No warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Cana is not liable for indirect loss, loss of data, or loss of use arising from the app. Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
12. Google Play
Google is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app or its support except where required by Google Play rules. If this agreement conflicts with mandatory store rules, those rules apply.
13. Export restrictions
You may not use or export the app in violation of applicable sanctions, export controls, or other mandatory restrictions.
14. Entire agreement and contact
This EULA, together with the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, forms the agreement governing your use of the app. Questions can be sent through “Settings → Contact support” in Cana.
